Consultation with Parents
Formal Consultation Evenings are held during the Autumn and Spring terms when parents have an opportunity to view their child’s work as well as discuss progress with teaching staff.
A Transition Evening is held in the Summer term for parents to see the work of the school as a whole, and to briefly meet their child’s new teacher for September.
An Annual School Report is given to parents at the end of each Summer term. This details the child’s progress in all the subject areas of the National Curriculum, and can be discussed with the class teacher on an arranged date.
Parents are invited to join their children throughout the school year at 'work sharing' mornings.
Teachers may also make arrangements to see parents on a regular basis if a child is experiencing difficulties.
