Year 3 & 4 Class Visit to The Woodhall Estate

Dear Parents & Carers of Year 3 and 4 Children,

THURSDAY 27th MARCH

COUNTRYSIDE LEARNING, WOODHALL ESTATE VISIT

We have arranged for Year 3 and Year 4 to visit the beautiful Woodhall Estate for a countryside learning day. During our visit the children will have the opportunity to take part in different outdoor activities.

We will be travelling to the estate by coach within the hours of the usual school day.

On the day all children will need to bring a packed lunch and plenty of drinks, preferably water, but definitely no fizzy drinks and no glass bottles. Please also make sure the packed lunch does not contain sweets, nuts or chocolate.

On the day children should wear old clothes, comfortable shoes and bring a coat. They do not need to wear school uniform. The children should also bring a pair of wellies in a named carrier bag.

The voluntary cost, which includes coach travel, and personal insurance is £8.95 per child. We would like to remind you that although payment is voluntary, the trip may not go ahead if not enough parents pay towards the cost.

Please log on to Arbor by Friday 14th March to give consent and payment for the trip. If your child has any medication already held in school which they need to take on the trip please email admin@priorswood.herts.sch.uk by Friday 14th March to ensure this information is included in the planning for the trip.

Yours sincerely,

Miss Edwards, Mrs Browning and Mrs Gray
