Reception Class Visit to Ware Library

Dear Parents & Carers of Children in Reception,

RECEPTION CLASS WARE LIBRARY VISIT

TUESDAY 25^TH MARCH 2025

As you are aware, our visit to the Ware Library which had been scheduled for November had to be rescheduled.  I am pleased to confirm that this has now been rearranged to the afternoon of Tuesday 25^th March.

Hertfordshire libraries are encouraging all reception children to join their local library, so during our visit on 25^th March the children will be able to explore the library, find out about library membership and enjoy a story. There is no charge for this trip.

We will be walking to the library as a class, leaving after the children’s lunchtime, we will have the afternoon at the library and will walk back to school for our usual 3.15pm finish.  Please ensure that your child brings in a coat that day and wears shoes that are comfortable for walking to and from the town.

All previous permissions and arrangements remain in place for the new date so no action is required, however if you have any questions please do not hesitate to ask.

We may need a few parent volunteers for the visit so if you are free and able to help please email admin@priorswood.herts.sch.uk and I will confirm nearer the time whether or not we will need you.
